Certainly it is possible for Miggy to lose the triple crown. Heck, he could end the season in second in all three stats. But if Miggy does not win the MVP I am going to be totally dumbfounded with the writers. I keep hearing that Trout leads in steals. If steals are that important then certianly total bases must be the ultimate stat. There Miggy leads by 70 bases over Trout. If the issue is that Trout plays center so well, how about the fact that Miggy has the third best fielding percentage in the league of third basemen with 100 or more games? Is Moustakas makes one more error Miggy will be the second best third sacker in fielding percentage. I just dont see how people are not seeing the Miggy is a special player. He is such a smart player when you watch him. I would expect he would be a manager some day with the way he plays.
